Welcome
Hemco is company dedicated to mining exploration and exploitation, to the generation of hydroelectric energy, the development of forestry plantations and business process outsourcing. It has presence in Bonanza, North Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAN) as well as in the central and northern regions of the country and the capital of Nicaragua. As part of its labor policy it creates quality jobs and brings constant training. HEMCO has policies aimed at guarantying the health and safety of its employees, as well as the care, conservation and renewal of the environment.
Mining
We produce 36 thousand troy ounces of gold and 83 thousand trou ounces of silver, which makes us Nicaragua´s 12th largest exporter.
Energy
Our Siempre Viva and Salto Grandes plants produce 7.6 million cubic meters and 1.4 cuic meters of water respectively.
Forestry
Through the Javier Chamorro Mora Forrestry Project we have planted 800 hectares. Our 15 year goal is 7500 hectares of forest.
Outsourcing
Accedo Technologies is our Business Process Outsourcing company. The 5 hectares technological park generates over 600 jobs per shift.
