Communitarian Outdoor Movies in Bonanza
- PODU brings more healthy entertainment options to enjoy within families

The magic of the movies under the lights of stars is the new entertainment for families in Bonanza who enjoy one and thousand stories each weekend in the “communitarian outdoor movies” placed in the new municipal park. This cultural novelty has been possible thanks to the Urban Regulation and Development Plan (PODU) fostered by Bonanza Town Hall and HEMCO’s support and that have made dreams like these ones come true.
Showings are free and for all type of audience, but with emphasis on children who are given tidbits during the exhibitions. The movies so far is placed in the central park, but then it will be moved to an amphitheater built for this purpose, work that will be developed during the second phase of this center, that stretches 17 manzanas, which makes it the biggest in the Caribbean.
“Including the communitarian movies in the park means achieving a new dream for people from Bonanza and its communities, especially children’s dreams who look very glad every time we complete a PODU work, which is our greatest satisfaction”, said Mayor Alexander Alvarado Lam.
